YOUR PAIN HAS A PATTERN
The way your pain feels, when it flares, what makes it worse, and what seems to help can reveal patterns worth paying attention to.
Take this 9-question quiz to discover which of six Traditional Chinese Medicine pain patterns shows up most strongly for you, and gain a clearer way to understand what you’ve been experiencing.

Maybe stress makes your shoulders tighten and your pain flare.
Maybe cold weather leaves you feeling stiff and achy. Your pain might burn, move from place to place, feel unusually heavy, or stay fixed in the same stubborn spot.
When you’ve lived with chronic pain for months or years, these details can start to feel like an endless collection of symptoms.
Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at them differently.
The quality of the pain, where it appears, when it changes, and what affects it can point toward recognizable patterns in how the body is responding.
Identifying your strongest pattern can give you a useful framework for understanding why your pain tends to behave the way it does.
Pain feels tight or pressurized, changes throughout the day, and often flares when stress builds.
Pain feels deep, achy, and stiff, especially in cold environments or first thing in the morning.
Pain feels hot, burning, or inflamed and may become more noticeable with heat or overactivity.
Pain changes quickly, moves from place to place, or seems frustratingly unpredictable.
Pain feels heavy, dragging, or persistent and may come with swelling, fatigue, or brain fog.
Pain feels sharp, fixed, deep, or stubborn and may have been present in the same area for a long time.
